She was predeceased by: her wife Daykin Alexander Neely; her daughter Elizabeth Potter (Gary); her brothers, Erwin (late Betty) and Alonzo (Vicki); and her siblings-in-law, Lavina Morand (Hector), Lillian Lockwood (late Earl) and Lester Neely.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret-Ann Davis (Jeff) and Barbara Cavanagh (Barry); her parents, Frederick Vance and Myrtle Vance (Baskin); and her siblings-in-law, Ruby Spencer, Sheila Neely (late Lyman) and Mel Lillie (late Norma). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Melissa, donations may be made to St. Thomas Anglican Church, Woodlawn or to the Dementia Society.
