She was predeceased by: her husband Mohammed (Slim); and her son Ahmad (Appie). She is survived by: her children, Gibran (Norma), Lya, Riad (Jane) and Radiq (Rebecca). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and her extended family.

In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Patrick's Home of Ottawa Foundation would be appreciated.
