We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Maxine Gloria Gruber (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrud Bayer (Sohlberg) and Luther Bayer; her husband John Alfred Gruber; and her siblings, Joyce and Ken.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marta (Ken Brennan) and Heidi (Mark Lagacé); her grandsons, Gabriel and Dominic of Ottawa; her niece Glynis Bailey (Eric); her nephews, Philip Thompson of Nova Scotia and Scott Thompson of Nova Scotia; and her brother-in-law Robert Gruber of Edmonton.
