He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Cuddihey; his parents, James Kennedy and Katherine Daly; and his siblings, Francis, Thomas (late Bessie Daly), Teresa and Clare (late Neil O'Neill).

He is survived by: his children, Marie (late Vic Devries), Gerald and Brian; his grandchildren, Adam, Katlyn (Geoffrey Stowe) and Brendan; his great grandchildren, Elisabeth, Madeleine and Gabrielle; and his sister Margaret (late James Cuddihy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and treasured family and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St-Mark's Catholic Church (160 Rue Principale, Gatineau, QC J9H3M8). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
