He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxille Lavergne and Madeleine Lavergne; and his siblings, André, Robert, Serge, Réjean (Cécile), Guy (Brenda), Richard (Lynn), Denis, Michel (Céline), Nicole (late Roger), Ginette (Charles) and Sylvie (Eric).

He is survived by: his daughters, Mélissa and Valérie; his grandson Nathan; his former wife Guylaine; and his brother Claude (Carole).
