She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Smail; her parents, Dr. Harold Duffett "Doc" and Marguerite Emily Couch; and her sister Ruth Wright. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Smail-Crevier (Marc) of Ottawa; her granddaughters, Rachel Smail-Crevier of Ottawa and Emilie Smail-Crevier of Ottawa; and her niece Sherry.
