She was predeceased by: her son Patrick Paul Augustine Cody; her parents, Elizabeth Carroll and Patrick James Carroll; and her siblings, Florence Keay, Kathleen "Kay" MacLeod and Vincent Carroll.

She is survived by: her children, William James Cody (Lise), Jayne Gogarty and Jo-Anne Cody; her grandchildren, Krystal, Patrick and Kaitlyn Gogarty; and her sister Irene MacDonald of Sydney, NS..
