He was predeceased by: his parents, Serge and Hilda. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Komourdjian; and his daughters, Alexandra Komourdjian and Maria Komourdjian (Hani Antar). He is also survived by extended family members; as well as many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cape Breton SPCA or the CBU scholarship fund in his honour (Biology Heritage Award, in honor of Dr. Komourdjian).
