She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathew Powers and Margaret Way; and her siblings, Cecil, Derick, Patrick, Sylvia and Marcella.

She is survived by: her sons, Jean Genier (Kelly) and Paul Genier (Darya); the parent of her children Jean I. Genier; her grandchildren, Owen, Luke, James, Maksim, Sasha and Stas; and her sisters, Eleanor (late Robert Toll), Doris (late Angus Maisonneuve), Beatrice (late Gary Knuff) and Joan (Maurice Demers). She is also survived by her nephews, nieces, friends.
