In the sacred silence of farewell, Marilyn Joyce is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marilyn Joyce's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Atchison and Helen Atchison; and her brothers, Don Moore (Joy) and Clark Atchison (Charlotte). She is survived by: her husband Gordon Thompson; her nephews, Rick Moore (Denise) and Steve Moore (Lesley); and her niece Donna Brule. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Barrhaven Legion (3500 Fallowfield Rd, Ottawa, ON K2J4A7).
