She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Valerio; and her son J. P. Valerio. She is survived by: her sons, Luis (Maria), Victor (Sue) and Peter (Rhonda); her granddaughters, Alexandra and Stephanie; and her siblings, Manuela, José, Branca and Carlos. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
