It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Celeste (Rodrigues) Malheiro (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Malheiro; and her daughter Teresa Malheiro. She is survived by: her children, Rosa Ostrander (William), Manuel Malheiro and Maria Amorim (Jose); her grandchildren, Cristina, David, Andrew (Srey), Cheryl (Mario), Jason (Heather), Sandra and Kevin (Quyen); her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Victoria, Skylar, Andre, Roman, Penelope, Violet, Teo and Alice; her sister Teresa Antunes (João) of New Jersey; and her sisters-in-law, Silva (Jose) and Rosa Malheiro (late Antonio). She is also survived by several nephews, nieces and friends.
