It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Alicia Desjardins (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on June 2, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, David (Kathleen), Douglas (Aaron), Jeff and Michelle Tasker; her grandchildren, Danielle, Kyle, Joel, Genevieve, Melinda, Emily, Scot and Cole; her sisters, Juanita (Don) and Mary; her sister-in-law Jane; her husband Clare; her daughter Alicia "Lisa"; her parents, Douglas Simpkin and Mercedes Simpkin; and her brother Fred. She was also cherished by nieces & nephews, neighbours & friends.
