Donna Smith wrote a sympathy message

“I met Margot many years ago when I was with the Manotick BIA. It wasn’t long before we became friends. Margot was always there to help me and support me. We enjoyed time together working and playing. Margot taught me many important life lessons that I’m so grateful for. She inspired me to always be true to myself. I admired her intellect, fun personality, she was beautiful inside and out! Donna”

Diane Lafrance wrote a sympathy message

“My deepest sympathies to Rick and family. I had the privilege of meeting Margot at the start of my career in the 80s when she worked at Sport Canada. What a wonderful human being she was! Charismatic, full of energy and ideas, she knew how to get things done! I was very fond of her and Rick. She will be greatly missed. I will keep very good memories of her. Rest in peace Margot! Anu DEANGELIS wrote a sympathy message

“Working at Watson's Mill for 6 years I was fortunate enough to work with Margot a fair bit. She was a joy, always ready to make us laugh, sometimes during our ZOOM Board meetings!!! Her wealth of background Manotick information helped us non-area residents understand how important Dickinson Square history is to the area. She was someone that made me smile and her love of our gardens helped make our area beautiful for guests to smile as well. She will be missed. RIP Margot. Anu De Angelis”
