She was predeceased by: her parents, George Grahame Addison and Eileen Margaret Addison (Wilson); her brother Grahame Wilson Addison; and her husband Patrick Spearey. She is survived by: her children, Susan Spearey and John Spearey; and her grandchildren, Brayden Spearey, Cole Spearey, Suzanne Bailey, Brian Bailey, Robert Bailey, Hal Stroebel, BeBe Strobel (Dodworth), Ken Stroebel, Wendy Herchenroether (Strobel), Robin Dolan (Stroebel), Doug Andison, Sue Andison (Stanbury), Bob Loudon, Gwen Loudon (Mueller), Tom Wells, Audrey Wells (Richardson), Donald Howson, Mary Howson (Archbold), Geoff Howson, Jan Asendorf, Alix Howson, Jeremy Campbell-Grant and Joan Campbell-Grant (Clibbon).

Even when Margaret's Alzheimer's had progressed to the stage where she rarely recognized family members, she continued to speak lovingly and with delight of the cottage.
