Margaret Fleming Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Fleming (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Whitemouth, Manitoba, who passed away on March 2, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Robert James Berkeley Fleming; and her siblings, Thomas Pound, Betty Waddington, Judy Campbell and Monica Thomas.

She is survived by: her husband John Adair Woodward; her children, Berkeley (Linda), Michael (Sharon), Richard (Lynn) and Margot (Ken Ridley); her grandchildren, David Fleming (Christiana MacDougall), Michael Fleming (Wendy McCurdy), Sarah Fleming, Andrew Fleming, Robert Fleming (Adrienne Rowan), Ashley Fleming (Joey Hamill), Matthew Ardill (Heather Davidson), Natasha Ardill and Nick Ardill (Amanda Fudge); her great grandchildren, Bailey, Amelia, Sophie, Benjamin, Hannah, Isaac, Jack, Leyla, Kamryn and Alexis; and her parents, Charles Pound and Dorothy Pound. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew's Terrace (Cambridge), the Robert and Margaret Fleming Award for Composition Studies (Mount Allison University), or a charity of one's choice.
