With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Carruthers of Ottawa, Ontario, born in Chesterville, Ontario, who passed away on December 21, 2020 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Carruthers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mansel Brownlee and Alma Brownlee; her sisters, Lois Quartus and Betty Merkley; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret VanWylick and Mary Carruthers.
She is survived by: her husband John Carruthers; her children, Peter Carruthers (Jennifer) of Iroquois and Catherine Byvelds (Ed) of Stratford; her siblings, Donald Brownlee of Williamsburg, Lorraine Cross (Jack) of Peachland, B. C. and Brian Brownlee (Louise) of Oakville; her brother-in-law George Carruthers (Ann); and her grandchildren, Owen, Emma and Grant Byvelds. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements Due to COVID restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
