He was predeceased by: his father Gérald Lanois; and his brothers, Normand and Yvon Lanois. He is survived by: his mother Alice Lanois; his daughters, Christine Lanois and Céline Lanois (André Clément); his grandchildren, Chloé, Kaylin Drew, Coralie Bowden, Cheyanne, Reylin and Kienna Clément; and his siblings, Pierre (Joanne), Jean (Nicole), Lucie (late Randy) and Jacynthe. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins.
