He is survived by: his wife Francine Portelance; his children, Pascale and Julien Portelance; his grandchild Zoé; his parents, Lorraine Charbonneau and Alcide Portelance; and his sisters, Gisèle (Gérald) and Hélène.

“Marc had an amazing sense of style equal to that of many trending men's fashion magazines. He had a unique sense of humor. He loved his children and held a special place in his heart for his grand-daughter. He was portelance proud, interested in his heritage and valued the relationships with his sister and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
