Though Manuel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Manuel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Teresa Avila; his sons, George and Eddy (Debbie); his grandchildren, Brittany (Eric Vibert), Taylor and Brayden (Christina); and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Chase, Carter, Ariella and Bella-Rose.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & Mc (1200 Ogilvie Rd, Ottawa, ON K1J8V1). A Mass will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Senhor Santo Cristo Roman Catholic Church (1100 Kenaston St, Ottawa, ON K1B3P5).
