He was predeceased by: his parents, David Levasseur and Marguerite Levasseur; and his sister Denise (late Jacques Bouchard). He is survived by: his wife Claire; his children, Luce (Patrice Marchand) and Sylvain (Roxanne Girard); his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jason (Jennifer Turgeon), Megan (Maxime Letendre), Corey (Daphnée Lalonde-Gosselin) and Lady; his siblings, Claude (Gaétane Otis) and Lyna; and his siblings-in-law, Denise Thiffault (late Victor Pare), Jacqueline Thiffault (late André Beauchesne) and Vianney Bourque (late Pauline Thiffault). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Any sympathy can be expressed by donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
