As Louise departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Louise. Though Louise may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rita Filion and Philip Filion; and her siblings, Robert Filion and Denise Hunt. She is survived by: her sons, David Armstrong and Kevin Armstrong (Jessica Lilley); and the parent of her children Gerry Armstrong.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cole Funeral Services (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pinecrest Reception Centre (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation and The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County.
