Louis Lacroix Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louis Lacroix (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on January 28, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Lacroix and Celina Lacroix; his stepson Richard Tréau (late Brenda) of Coeli; and his sister Estelle Labelle (late Lloyd). He is survived by: his wife Alice Lacroix; his stepdaughter Louise Gadbois (Kenneth Gadbois); and his grandchildren, Jason (Pam), Keith, Mathieu (Robyn), Maxime (Lisa) and Jessica Nelson (Brian). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Residence St-Louis would be greatly appreciated.

“Hello. I was thinking of Louis today while I was at st. louis residence. I am a volunteer and I remember him telling me he loved christmas time, smiling and telling stories. I would visit him many times over the last few years and there was always an interesting story. He talked about his childhood and his family. One christmas party at St. Louis, there was a big gathering in the auditorium and I remember his family smiling with him while we watched santa and a live band playing music.”
