Lorraine D Paquin Obituary

In loving memory of Lorraine D. Paquin who passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the age of 73.

Beloved daughter of Roger Paquin (predeceased 2018) and Therese L. Paquin (nee Nadon) (predeceased 2014). Beloved wife of 46 years of Jean-Marie Simard. Loving mother for Cindy; son, Shawn Paquin (nee Murree), devoted and proud grandmother of Evangeline and Gabrielle. Stepchildren - Johanne, Carmen, Jean-Marc, Jean-Marie Jr. and Patrick. Dear sister of Marcel (predeceased 2000), Angela, Jerry (Terry), Fern (Tessie), Gisele (Mark), Norm (predeceased 2019) all of Sudbury and Monique of Ottawa. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, dear Aunt of Marc, Lianne, Daniel, Joanna, Robert, Ashley, Krysta and great Aunt of Bradley, Eric and Madison.

She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who were blessed to have her in their lives. She will be remembered for her kind and compassionate heart and beautiful soul. She is now reunited in Heaven with her parents and her two brothers. “God may have Lorraine in keeping, but we will always have her in our memory, but most importantly in our hearts”. We shall meet again through eternity.

In keeping with Lorraine’s wishes, cremation has already taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kelly Funeral Home in Orleans.
