The memory of Lois Winacott (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As Lois departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lois may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lois leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Lloyd Winacott; her children, Sandra, Carol (Brad), Donna and Glenn (Sylvie); and her grandsons, Cameron and Alexander.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tubman Funeral Homes - Garden Chapel (3440 Richmond Rd, Nepean, ON K2H8H7). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
