She was predeceased by: her former husband Joe Laberge; her stepson Dennis Brown (Barbara); her siblings, Glen Plunkett and Mavis Davidson; and also, Barbara Carr (John) and Elizabeth Gload (Harold).

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amy, Mandy, Rick (Kate) and Nicole Harris (Mike); her daughter Leslie Abraham (Jeff); her grandchildren, Kendra Jessome (Derrick), Melani Bejder (Frank Marion), Jennifer Carr and Heather Carr (Dallas Schlitt); her husband Phil Brown; her stepdaughter Anne Orr (Evan); her cousin Marilyn Jensen; her sister-in-law Pauline Brown; and also Doug Pope. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Ottawa and Renfrew or the Canadian Cancer Society.
