He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ellis; his stepchildren, Ernie Matt and Tamara Robertson; his children, Suzanne Poirier, Jo-Anne Poirier (Dave Darch), Michelle Poirier-Patry (Jean-Philippe Patry), Gabriel Poirier (Nancy Poirier) and François Poirier (Diana Poirier); his grandchildren, Maxime Côté (Dominic Côté), Alexandre Poirier (Clare Yang), Mathieu Poirier (Ashley Poirier), Philippe Patry (Janelle Patry), Connor Davidson, Adam Davidson (Kelsey Goodwin), Zachary Poirier and Christian Poirier; and his great grandchildren, Noémie and Mikel Patry.
