He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Picotte and Magella Prevost; his spouse Laurette Picotte; his children, André, Claude (Ginette) and Sylvie; and his brothers, Paul "Bill" and Gene.
He is survived by: his children, Pierre Hartl (Ann), Johanne Hartl and Christine Hartl (Gary); his grandchildren, Marc-André, Michel, Yves, Camille (Éric), Amber and Tyler; and his siblings, Thérèse Brunet, Muriel Frédérick and Albert "Babe". He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends.
