It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurie Bruce Royal Hunter of Ottawa, Ontario, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bligh Hunter and Lenora (Essbury). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Louise (Crosbie); his sister Mary Lee Smith (Hunter) of Saint John, NB; his children, Michael (Doris) of West Bay, Cape Breton, Kathlyn of Bridgewater, NS and Janet of Ottawa; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Steeves MacDougall (Michael) of Riverview, NB, Amy Butler (Dan) of Vancouver, BC, Jonathon Hunter of Toronto, Ruth Davy (Paulo Eduardo) of Ottawa, Erin Davy (Matt Casey) of Ottawa and James Davy (Kalene) of Toronto.
