He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jo-Ann Thompson; his children, Teresa, Shawn (Lori), Larry, Robert and Chris; his parents, Bernard Shannon and Hilda Shannon; and his siblings, Dale (Jean), Gary, Elaine Latimer, Debbie Pearson (late Neil), Bernie (Judy), Marilyn (Murray Fowler) and Allison (Kevin Pratt). He was also cherished by Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
