He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Michele; his children, Shauna (Matthew), Michael (Vanessa) and Kristen (Morgan); his parents, Laurence and Beatrice; his siblings, Moya (Joseph), Raymond (late Concepta), Paula Omagh (Rhys) and Tyrone; and his siblings-in-law, Christian (late Vera), Danielle and Louise (Michael). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

“Since arriving in Ottawa in 1988, Larry has been a larger than life character and a great supporter and influencer for the Irish. My late Dad enjoyed the time he spent with Larry at the Heart and Crown on his Ottawa vacations. Larry had a wonderful, self deprecating, sense of humour. I thank him for all the support when I started broadcasting. My deepest condolences to MIchelle and all the family. He will be missed. Austin & Mary Comerton - Ottawa”

I remember him as a big smiley friendly lad who was so good to me and a great teammate and such good fun to be around.
