He was predeceased by: his parents, Nikolaos Nantsios and Ekaterini Nantsios; and his siblings, Malamatia (Matoula), Alexandre and Thanasis.
He is survived by: his children, Nickolas (Carole) and Katherina (Ian); his sisters-in-law, Stavroula (Alexandre) and Chrissoula (Athanasis); and his wife Renate. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
