DAVIS, Ken G “Kenny”
June 13, 1959 – September 7, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ken, in Ottawa, Ontario, at the age of 63. No more suffering! Ken leaves behind his loves: his wife Wendy, his faithful dog Sasha, his brothers Gary (Kathy), of Powel River BC, Murray (Gayle) of Bon Accord AB, Dez (Joie) of White Rock BC, Mike (Sandra) of Devon AB, Dan of Nebraska USA, brother-in-law Brent, and mother-in-law Marge, both of Ottawa ON. Ken’s memory will always be cherished by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their kindness and care over the last few years; Ken’s family is very grateful for their support. A special thanks to J Mitchell Laframboise.

Ken had many interests, and music was definitely a big one. He especially loved the Beatles and unfortunately, he never made it to 64! He loved Beartrap AB, and yearned to go back there one day. Before he lost much of his eyesight, he loved to read – everything from Canadian History to Stephen King novels. Fortunately, he discovered audio books, which helped keep him entertained during some of the long hours of dialysis, or long days at St. Vincent’s.

In Saying goodbye to Ken here are Wendy’s thoughts to a “Good One”. To Ken: Coffee and a muffin, such a simple request. I hope Heaven has these. Morning Glory: Ken liked these the best. And a large coffee (never small). He never got to enjoy his last coffee and muffin – he was just too sick. He was loved!
