He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert McKibbon and Muriel McKibbon; his wife Beverly Louise Fenerty-McKibbon; his children, Frances McKibbon and Hubert David McKibbon; and his granddaughter Lily Cutcliffe.

He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Everett (Todd), Katherine McKibbon, Elizabeth Godon-McKibbon, Colby John Harper (Hester), Heather Marshall, Dawna Cutcliffe (Phil) and Rebecca Harper (Daniel); and his pets, Daisy and Murdoch. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
