It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine McEwen (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on March 5, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Noort and Ruth van Noort; her husband Ted McEwen; her siblings, Bill van Noort (Eleanor) and Sonja McPhail; and her brother-in-law Lorne McPhail.

She is survived by: her siblings, John van Noort (Coba), Dwight van Noort and Rose Kloppenburg (Carl); her nephew Michael van Noort (Jennifer); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily, Joshua, Matthew van Noort (Amélie Lalonde), Bruce van Noort, Tom Kloppenburg (Erin), Michelle Kloppenburg (Derek Petit) and Sam Kloppenburg; and also, Henri, Léo, Emmett, Lettie and Rosalie.

Memorial donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be welcomed.
