She was predeceased by: her husband Jim McKennirey; her parents, Hilda McGillis (Tierney) and Bernard McGillis; her siblings, Eileen (late Colin Besserer), Patricia (late Howard Quail) and Hugh (Joan); and her siblings-in-law, Margaret (late Charles Crawford), Geraldine and Gerald.

She is survived by: her sons, James and John (Anne Mayo); her grandchildren, Kathleen, Emma, Brigid, Luke, Clare, John and Hugh; her son Matthew; her grandchildren, Patrick, David and Eleanor; her daughter Christine (Tony Quon); her grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Elizabeth and Peter; her daughter Catherine (Bill Shields); her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Dylan, Naomi, Conor and Marah; her son Mark (Deirdre Martin); her grandchildren, Pierce, Ellen and Colin; her daughter Anne; her granddaughters, Virginia, Julia, Patricia and Nora; her children, Mary (Robert Koroluk) and Keva (Steve Clifton); her grandchildren, Owen, Bronwyn and Katherine; and her sister Maureen (Joe McGillis). She is also survived by her 36 great-grandchildren.
