She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Turner and Jack Turner; and her brother Steven Turner. She is survived by: her husband Jim Blake; her sons, Matthew (Leanne) and Evan (Jacqueline); her grandchildren, Briar, James, Colton and Dylan; and her siblings, Gwynneth Mary Lovas (Steven), Elizabeth Welch (Wayne), Matthew Turner (Linda) and Peter Turner (Tanya). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Leonard's Parish (5332 Long Island Rd, Ottawa, ON K4M1E8). A reception was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1).

In memory of Kathy, memorial donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
