It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Karen Lyng-McClelland (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 71, on March 5, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Lyng and Edith Lyng; and her siblings, James, Brian Lyng and Patricia Isabelle.
She is survived by: her close friend Donald Giff; her son Chris McClelland; her grandchildren, Meghan and James; her son Brooke McClelland (Julia); her grandchildren, Benjamin and Lauren; her sisters, Norma Hewitt (Peter) and Eleanor Griffiths; and her daughter-in-law Jessica Gibson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
To honor Karen's life and memory, the family would prefer donations be made to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation's Cancer Research program in lieu of flowers.
