He was predeceased by: his sibling Inaam Katra (late Jean). He is survived by: his spouse Mouhiba Aziz El Hachem; his children, Roland (Hanaa Gedeon) and Elias (Nancy Abdallah); his grandchildren, Matteo, Lucas, Talia and Avielle; and his siblings, Joseph Abou Serhal (Amal Azzi) of Ottawa, Sonia Bou Sleiman (late Jamil) of Montreal, Elham Karam (late Bassam) of New Jersey, Violette Dagher (late Toufic) of Lebanon, Isabelle Sarkis (late Toufic) of Lebanon and Amal Lahoud (late Tanios) of Lebanon.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:00 am at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St. In memory of Kamal, donations to St. Charbel Church would be appreciated.
