He was predeceased by: his wife Edith; his sister Lois Beed; and his sons-in-law, Sam McInnis, Neil Hare and Terry Lyle.

He is survived by: his daughters, Gloria and Donna; his grandchildren, Shannon McInnis (Sean McIIveen), Tyson Hare (Alyssa Meress), Ashley McInnis (Jennifer) and D'Arcy Hare; his great grandchildren, Ceili McIIveen, Sam McIIveen, Jayden McInnis, Sebastian Hare and Bodhi Meress-Hare; his brother Don; and his sister-in-law Gertrude Gladney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Perley Health Rideau Veteran's Unit or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated.
