He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hancin and Anne Hancin; his spouse Clairette Hancin; and his brothers, John and George.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Hancin (Roxanne), Nancy Freeman (Craig), Sandra Perron (Robert) and Raymond Hancin; his grandchildren, Phillip, Nicholas, Sarah, Aunika, Corbin, Alexander, Lauren, Lee and Simon; and his great grandchildren, Maxime, Antonio and Hannah.
In memory of Joseph Hancin donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
