He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Cronk and Hazen Cronk; and his brothers, Gordon Cronk and David Cronk. He is survived by: his sisters, DeRutha Dupuis (Ron) of Toronto, Linda Roth (Ken) of Ottawa and Elizabeth Leppik (Hans) of Toronto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
