He was predeceased by: his spouse Maria; and his siblings, Karolina, Karl, Marica, Mike and Freddie.

He is survived by: his children, Karl (Harber), Walter (Ruth) and Elfi Robertson (Rob); his grandchildren, Matt (Natalie), Robbie (Sarina), Jessica, Eric, Krystal, Dana Robertson, Piepers (Doug) and Katie; and his siblings, Ferdinand, Frank and Leo. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
