He is survived by: his wife Maria Nicia Botelho (Homem); his children, Helder (Sandra) and Alvaro (Connie); his grandchildren, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Brianna and Callum; his siblings, Maria of Jesus, Henriqueta and Susete; and his brother-in-law Jose Homem (Natal). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
