John Smarzik Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Smarzik (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on November 15, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jane; his children, Kathryn (Bill), Elizabeth and John (Marilyn); the mother of his children Ann; his sister Marian Dick (Harold); his grandchildren, Stephanie, Lindsay, Adam (Beveridge), Lauren and Kate (Smarzik); and his parents, John and Maria of Slovakia.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute or Queensway Carleton Hospital.
