He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Royds and Irene (Murphy); and his brothers, Michael and Peter. He is survived by: his siblings, Lee Royds, Anne Burgess, Betty Zahalan (Ralph) and Mary Ross (Harry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
