It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Read (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Brantford, Ontario, who passed away on October 13, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Dashiell (Dash) and Brie; his grandchildren, Hakan, Beija and Evelina; and his siblings, Bruce and Pam.
In lieu of flowers, we hope you consider a donation in his name (he would not want it to be in his name, he was that type of man) to the Ottawa Public Library which he adored, the Food Bank, or Habitat for Humanity.
