“So sorry to hear this news of John’s passing. John was a great guy and will be missed. I meant John through my Brother, Stephen and when I started with National Trust in the early ‘90’s, John took me “under his wing”. He sent me to “his guy” at Crossing’s in the Belleville mall and set me up with proper suits, shoes and ties lol. He always could dress well. We had a lot of laughs in those days at Belleville Main and later and I always appreciated those times. My condolences. Kevin Gaskin”

“Very funny you share that story. One of my first memories was Johnny calling out my work attire - all my suits were hand-me-downs from a very successful Uncle and were probably at least $2500 a piece...but were dated. I still remember the quote - "I always make certain my suits are current..." I don't remember the rest but Johnny Mac...I've upped my game!”

“...or embraced it. We were a team to be envied as we had such a great passion, great joy and great culture (Thank you Trevor for your Cowboy dances) Great team members and great leaders as well, to support J-Mac [Abbass, Wahab, Boulter, Chennette (RIP)] He was a good man. He always loved to have fun and will be dearly missed...he was always "invited to the table" many years beyond our working years together. "Heeeeeey Cowboys!" (Our daily ritual.)”

“I just wanted to share my memories of the LARGE life that was John "Johnny Mac: McMullen. Early in my career, and shortly out of University, he was one of my first managers. We had a wild crowd on our team, full of BIG personalities, who continue to be friends to this day. John was our compass...or at least tried to be (not his fault...) but we were in the Credit Dept. at MBNA and we were the "Credit Cowboys." I don't recall whether Johnny named us this or just embraced...part 2 coming...”
