He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy McGregor; his parents, Robert McGregor and Katheryn Going; and his brother Maynard William McGregor (Dorothy Smith). He is survived by: his daughter Kathryn; his grandchildren, Mallory Whitmell (Kyle) and Michael McDonald (Jeff Morrison); and his great grandchildren, Adaline and Felicity Whitmell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
