He was predeceased by: his siblings, Henk (late Jutta), Dina, Roelof (late Joan) and Fenna (late Gerrit). He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Joanne, Adeline (Rick Cumming), Fenny (late Donald Marquis), John (Dawn) and Christopher (Amy); his grandchildren, Mark (Madeline), Justin, Katelyn, Kristina, Stephanie and Dean; and his sibling Janny (Louw).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Daley Family Funeral Home (6971 Bank St, Metcalfe, ON K0A2P0). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Christian Reformed Church (3782 Russell Rd, Ottawa, ON K1G3N2).
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, 40 Ruskin St. Ottawa, ON K1Y 4W7 or the Ottawa Food Bank, 2001 Bantree St. Ottawa, K1B 4X3 would be appreciated.
